DAWG Studio ("we", "us", "our") operates the web application at dawgstudio.com. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and artist name. When you use DAWG Studio, we collect audio recordings you create within sessions, session metadata (timestamps, settings, beat analysis), usage analytics (pages visited, features used, session duration), and device/browser information for compatibility.
We use your information to provide and improve the DAWG Studio service, process your recordings with AI vocal effects, send transactional emails (account access, session exports), send product updates and tips (you can unsubscribe anytime), and process payments via Stripe (we never store card numbers).
Your vocal recordings are processed in real-time in your browser. Audio data is transmitted to our servers only when you explicitly save a session or export a file. We do not use your recordings to train AI models. We do not share your recordings with third parties. You can delete your recordings at any time from your account.
We use Stripe for payment processing, Plausible for privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies, no personal data), Anthropic Claude API for AI features (audio is not retained), and Netlify for hosting.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of all your data by emailing privacy@dawgstudio.com. Upon deletion request, we remove all personal data within 30 days.
DAWG Studio uses only essential cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Our analytics tool (Plausible) is cookieless.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, export your recordings, opt out of marketing emails, and request a copy of data we hold about you.
We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, encrypt sensitive data at rest, and follow industry security best practices. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
DAWG Studio is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
